About Me

Moulmein Kitchen
Singapore
I was born in Moulmein (now with its original name of Mawlamyine) and later moved to Yangon before moving to Singapore when i was ten years old. Moulmein is the third largest city of Myanmar (formerly Burma) after Yangon and Mandalay. It is also the capital of Mon State and a seaport. Moulmein is famous for its tropical fruits and for its cuisine. There is this popular Burmese expression, " Yangon for the bragging, Mandalay for the speaking and Moulmein for the eating" This blog is to showcase my humble culinary skills.
